CWTA introduction
China Wool Textile Association (CWTA), founded in Nov. 1995, is a national
social organization of Chinese wool textile industry, and became a member of
International Wool Textile Organization (IWTO) in March, 1998, on behalf of
China wool industry.
CWTA, which now has about 300 direct members, over 1300 indirect members, firmly
stand and stick up for the benefits of this industry. Its members vary from wool
production, circulation, processing, to wool foreign trade, scientific research,
checking and so on. CWTA represents Chinese wool industry to a great extent.
Keeping serving enterprises and government, promoting Chinese wool textile
industry as its principle, CWTA has carried out a series of measures and
achieved some success with the supervision of administration authorities and the
support from its members. New technology and new process have been extended in
the wool textile industry, and the relations between government department and
enterprises or among enterprises have been strengthened by means of providing
communication opportunity, information releasing, investigating and product
promoting; help enterprises to exploit market by promoting well-known and high
quality products; accelerate Chinese wool industry’s entering into international
market by international communication and cooperation.
In the new period of full development under the spirit of the “twelfth 5 years
plan”, CWTA will provide better service to wool textile enterprises and promote
cooperation between Chinese wool textile enterprises and wool textile
enterprises from all other countries to prosper Chinese and world textile
industry.
